CES 2014: Cognitive Cars
CEA, Sep-Oct 2013 - The most important feature of any sophisticated bit of technology is the way it presents itself to the person using it -- its user interface (UI) or human-machine inferface (HMI) in technology parlance. Whether a car has the most advanced navigation system or the greatest number of smartphone apps able to stream hours of audio to its dozens of speakers is irrelevant if the driver and passengers find using them to be difficult or, worst of all, a distracting nuisance.
