Concorso Italiano 2019 - The I-Team
Seaside CA, August 17 2019 - It takes a lot of inertia to keep any show running for over three decades and a big team to pull off big things. While it takes but one day a year to unleash the CI energy, it takes a team of workhorses a year to recharge the electric field. As a result Concorso Italiano has a ready firm grasp on the heart of Monterey Car Week - the annual California coastal Mecca of high-value automobiles.

The one day Italooza is a massive gathering of fine people with fine cars mostly of Italian origin. The Great Italian Car Dance begins with a slow parade of HUNDREDS of wild and beautiful examples of motorcars, winding through the sacred fairways and greens at Blackhorse Golf Club in Seaside CA. The Concorso weather forecast is usually fog in the morning with piercing sun in the afternoon.
You might barely notice all the hard work put in by the I-Team, likely because they have such a good time doing it. We caught a few of them standing still long enough for an interview:
Gary Bobileff - Bobileff Motorcar Company
Tim Campbell - Glastonbury AV
Scott Engebretson - Concorso Italiano
Nick Bergeron - Rain City Supercars
Manny Solana - Jacob's Heart Foundation
Matt Stone - Matt Stone Cars (Master of Ceremonies)
Each can tell you how many years they have been attending Concorso Italiano, and you can bet they will already be plotting for the next year at 2020. CI should be a must-have experience - capture your own share of Italy August 15 2020.
