Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo - Fifty years ago, three young men with a common dream banded together to give us the Apollo GT. Milt brown and Ron Plescia envisioned an American answer to the great European GTs of the early 1960's. Together with Frank Reisner's Intermeccanica, they launched Apollo in the United States. The bodies were hand-crafted by Intermeccanica in Italy then shipped to Oakland CA for assembly by Brown and Company. Only 88 of these high-performance exotics were ever made and 17 of them will be at Concorso Italiano this year.
