Burbank CA, July 26 2014 - The beautiful downtown Burbank Car Classic packed the streets on a typical blistering hot summer Saturday. Nestled here in the cradle of hot rod culture, you can expect to see the best examples of automotive finery. From careful original restorations to crazy custom creations like La Bestioni, there is something for everyone in attendance.
The Batmobile from the 1997 movie “Batman & Robin”
Being the actual movie capital of the world, you can expect some movie cars. Key sponsors such as the Petersen Museum "Herbie the Love Bug" and the "Die Another Day" Jaguar. Auctions America showcased The "Rainman" movie car, Rod Stewart’s Ferrari. The 90s version of the Batmobile found a large enough parking spot between John Wayne’s Pontiac, the "Hornet" movie car, and the "Fast & Furious" 70 Superbird.
The Downtown Burbank Car Classic shows improvement each time out. Look for a bigger result next year.
