Love Ride 33 - Herd Loud and Clear
Santa Clarita CA, Nov 10 2019 - The Love Ride is back for more LOVE! After a few years on hiatus, the famous Love Ride has returned in a more intimate and manageable format. Any excuse would be good with us, but celebrating a new Harley-Davidson dealership seems like a particularly good reason - especially when the new owner is Robert Patrick - former Terminator cop and current long-time Love Ride Alumni.

The blocks long lineup of motorcycles stretching the streets alongside Harley-Davidson of Glendale is a fair spectacle. The participants mark their spot in line and history by the Love Ride number they started attending - some have been Love Riding since the very beginning.
This day's story is told by a few veterans - photographer Chuck Null; bike-builder Micah McCloskey; Bart Perry; "Backroads with Betsy" Huelskamp and of course - HD dealer legend Oliver Shokuh.
The end destination in 2019 moved from Castaic Lake to Robert Patrick's shiny new HD dealership in Santa Clarita. Love Ride chariteers were treated to great food, beverages and entertainment by Chevy Metal and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. A ton of money was handed over to the Santa Clarita Education Foundation - the latest in a long string of beneficiaries over the Love Ride decades.
If you own a motorcycle of any kind near Southern California, you owe it to yourself to check this original event out. See you in 2020!
