Modesto Area Classic Thunderbird Club

Modesto CA - The Modesto Area Classic Thunderbird Club was organized in 1981 and received our charter in 1982. Our objective is to promote the preservation and restoration of 1955, 56, and 57 Ford Thunderbirds through exchange of ideas, information, and technical events. The club promotes friendship and social activities through monthly meetings and tours.

The Club welcomes guests who are interested in the preservation of classic Ford Thunderbirds to our monthly meetings. Meetings are usually held the second Sunday of each month at a local restaurant at noon, or hosted by one of the member's at their home, or vacation home.

Tours occur in most months, on the third or fourth Sunday, where the weather is conducive to driving the classic cars. Just a few of the recent tours include: Lick Obervatory and Mount Hamilton; Duarte Nursery in Hughson; Atwater Mansion; Amgen Cancer Survivor Parade; Lavender Farms in Escalon; Concannon Winery in Tracy; Strawberry, Ca; Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock; Classic Wine Vinegar and Whitmore Mansion in Ceres; LaGrange Gold Dredge and Saloon; Shepherder's Restaurant in Los Banos and nature preserve; Apple Hill in Placerville; and Foster's Bighorn in Rio Vista. http://www.modestoareaclassictbirdclub.org/index.html
