Pebble Beach 2015: Not Far From The Madding Crowd
Pebble Beach CA, Aug 12-16 2015 - Monterey Car Week is known for a lot of craziness. Crazy cars, crazed car lovers adds up to crazy traffic, but all for crazy fun. On any other week, Monterey by itself is known for beautyness. Bounded by coastal mountains, valleys, bays and beaches – the central California coast is hard to beat.

The whole Monterey region changes with the influx of mass visitors. Thousands of workers and hundreds of support companies are needed to get the show ready, and it all comes together like they’ve done it before (they have). A mini city of giant tents and structures pops up from nowhere, soon to be filled with noise and those in the knows.
It makes sense that the most beautiful cars and people would coagulate here and grow into a great relationship. Given so much to see and so many material things to do in such a short week though, nature goes out of focus in the background. If one can just pull away for a minute from the gravity of eyeballs attracted to the finest cars on the planet, there lies a timeless real world that cares not of the mechanical royalty rolling nearby.
When all else is gone, beauty remains – no words needed for explanation. Next event August 21 2016.
