Steve McQueen Car & Motorcycle Show 2014: Still Lovely

The Steve McQueen Car & Motorcycle Show has a lot of moving parts. It takes a great effort to move all of the hundreds of cars from across the county and country into position. Once all cars arrive they are locked in for our viewing pleasure. Impossible to capture all in motion, it’s still a challenge to capture them all while standing still.

First, there are so many, where do you start? How many shots of each car? Which ones to keep? When will those avid car fans get out of the way? It takes a second to take a picture, a bunch more to determine its future (keep or trash?), and they may be around a long time as an asset or a liability. Beautiful pictures of cars may have a longer lifespan than others.

Kevin Krieg and Derek Bisutil's dualing guitars provided a night of song but all are too short to play back over a track and field full of cars. This is but a quick taste of all the cars and sounds that turned up for 2014. Isn’t she lovely?
