Vancouver International Auto Show 2019: SVABC - Reflecting the Experience
Vancouver BC, March 19 2019 - The Specialty Vehicle Association of British Columbia is a volunteer organization dedicated to representing the hobby and preservation of all vehicle types - original or modified cars, trucks and motorcycles. The group staked out classic car parking space under the escalator of the Vancouver Convention Centre for the 99th Vancouver Auto Show.
President Bob Kelly offered a quick summary of SVABC:
"We're here to showcase the collector car hobby in British Columbia. It's changing; it's growing; and we're here to shed light on what the industry is all about, and how it reflects out to the economic values in the community too. It's basically the hobby that's important -- there's positive effects to it. We represent all the collector car people in the province, and the relationships with the government and all the programs that are available. It's the experience they enjoy - they build something from scratch; they get to enjoy it after and show it."
